I'm new to all that jazz so I'm making my way up the "recommended" list but yesterday i branched out and OMFG what is this brilliance?! I refuse to pay for stuff so I only got halfway through Season 2, but I don't think I have read anything this good so far in this genre... Has anyone read it? Looking for a friend

I had this plant for years now and it had grown to a monstrous size. I had to move house last year and found it this spot as it was most similar to the conditions it had before. Roots in the shade and the rest in indirect sunlight. Initially it was doing perfectly fine, however since winter it started loosing leaves. First it was the leaves from the bottom stems so I assumed they don't get enough sunlight, but now it's sort of here and there and they're not just old leaves but also random relatively newer ones. It grows new leaves and the stems expand still, I water it as I always had which is once the soil is bone dry. The wall it's on has plenty of indirect sunlight throughout most of the day. Could it be that the UK winter was too dark for it? I dread having to untangle the stems but do you guys think it needs a bigger pot or fresh soil? I've only reported it once, some 3 or 4 years ago. I don't really care that much for its size but it keeps growing nonetheless...
