Looking for some guidance from people who’ve gone through internal mobility or have visibility into India comp bands.

Current situation:
- Based in US (Plano)
- CCB, Level 602 (75th percentile in pay band)
- ~8 years of experience
- Working in Data (governance / analytics side)

Plan:
Exploring internal mobility to India (Hyd / Bangalore), targeting a move to 603 level.

Context:
- No prior full-time work experience in India
- Trying to understand realistic compensation expectations before I get into formal discussions

Questions:

  1. What kind of CTC range should I realistically expect for 603 in Hyd/Bangalore?
  2. How much of a pay correction usually happens moving from US → India internally?
  3. What should I anchor/negotiate for (base, bonus %, joining bonus)?
  4. Anything specific I should be careful about during internal mobility discussions?

Would really appreciate insights from anyone who has done a similar move or works in comp/HR.
