I've been on hrt for just over two years. I've lived in my current apartment for nearly three years. And I just talked to my landlord about changing my name. He's a bit on the older side, but very nice. He just looked at me and said "Ok, just send me an email with your new name and I'll include it in the next contract." I'm kinda shocked. He asked what my new name was, and I told him. No questions. Nothing. He just went on his way.
