Dual SIM prompt not showing on Android Auto – Vivo X300 GLOBAL
Hi everyone,
I recently switched from a Xiaomi to a Vivo X300 and I am having a specific issue with Android Auto and Dual SIM management.
When I select a contact to call directly from the car's head unit, the call doesn't start. The car screen stays idle because the phone is waiting for me to select which SIM to use. However, the SIM selection prompt only appears on the phone screen and not on the car display.
On my previous Xiaomi, this choice appeared directly on the Android Auto interface, allowing me to stay focused on the road. On the Vivo, I have to manually unlock the phone and pick the SIM, which defeats the purpose of using Android Auto.
I have thousands of contacts and they are not divided into groups, so I cannot assign a specific SIM to each contact manually. I also need to choose the SIM for every call to keep my work and personal life separate.
Has anyone found a workaround or a setting in OriginOS to force the SIM selection pop-up to show up on the Android Auto screen?
