Hello everyone,

I’m currently waiting for a decision on my UK standard visa. My biometrics appointment was on April 7th, and I haven’t received an answer yet.

My wedding anniversary is on the 28th, and I would really like to be in the UK for that date. Since I need a tourist visa to enter, my partner and I are considering applying for one while I’m still waiting for the decision on the current application.

However, I’m not sure if this is a good idea. Has anyone been in a similar situation or tried applying for a tourist visa while another visa application is still pending?

Any advice or experiences would be really helpful. Thank you!
