looks like i'm getting my first GBA, is the polarizer burnt? I know they are normally dim but i just wanna make sure that's normal or if there is any way i can improve its quality.
Got this GBP in yellow for a few bucks. Im planning on modding it to a transparent shell with white accents, as well as adding an ips screen. However, after cleaning the yellow shell, i cant decide if i want to keep it or continue with my original plan
Ignore the screen, im in the process of replacing its polarizer to see if still works
Been mislead 2 times with fake GBA SPs so far, can yall help me find out if this is a legit or fake gameboy? I would highly appreciate any tips on how to identify fake from authentic ones too since ive been getting into the hobby of collecting and restoring Nintendo consoles thanks!
By any chance is this a ribbon cable problem or a loose connector? The pixels seem to load only with certain colors, i cant attach a video for some reason so i hope the pictures show what i mean. Im waiting on the y screwdrivers I ordered online so i cant reseat it right now but i would definitely try when they arrive.
