People who’ve hosted large online groups: what works?

Need some advice from people who’ve hosted large virtual group sessions before.

I’m about to host an informal networking/community-style call with ~100 people across different countries and time zones. I’m comfortable facilitating groups up to around 30, but 100 is definitely new territory for me.

Would love tips, tricks, formats, ESPECIALLY engagement ideas, icebreakers, ways to keep energy levels up, and things you wish someone told you before hosting a large interactive session like this.

Thinking of starting a women-focused social community in Kolkata — any interest?

Pressure testing an idea here — how many people in Kolkata would be interested in a community/social circle that’s initially focused on women?
The idea is to create a comfortable space for genuine friendships, casual meetups, creative conversations, wellness, culture, and building a supportive circle in the city. Depending on the response and how it evolves, it could eventually become more inclusive/open to everyone.

Kind of a silly question, but shooting my shot here 😅

I’ve got 4+ years of experience working in the proposal space with one of the Big 4 firms (IFS), and I’m starting to explore opportunities at Accenture.

Was wondering if anyone here works in a similar role at Accenture and might be open to referring me if something relevant comes up?

I’m currently based in India (WB).

Happy to share my CV or chat more if needed. Appreciate any leads — thanks in advance!

For Kolkata folks mainly and could concern cities this person maybe traveling to

Not sharing my identity. Just putting this out there so others don’t walk into the same situation.

Ran into a guy I dated earlier at South City .… to my surprise two other women were also trying to track him down …..

Name he uses is Subhodeep (trying to be cautious and 100% sure many of you will easily guess the surname because he’s been up to nuisance for years and expect to see variations of his name Subho/Subho Deep/so on)

If you see him on dating apps or around, be careful. My experience involved what I would call a monetary scam, along with a lot of lying and overlap with other women. At one point there were at least two others also trying to track him down for answers.

He usually has a story ready about his struggles and how women have treated him badly. Over time it turns into you being blamed for things that don’t add up. Felt like constant gaslighting.

Also wouldn’t fully trust details like his age or personal background. There were inconsistencies before.

Saw him with someone much younger. Didn’t look like anything has changed.

Not saying this is everyone’s experience. Just sharing mine so people stay alert. Be cautious with money, don’t ignore red flags, and don’t get pulled into emotional narratives too fast.

Posting because I wish I had a warning.

Stay safe.
