John could have been anyone for Gaby.

I feel like a lot of people do not realise this. Their fling started off with Gaby noticing him after an argument with her husband and jumping him. It could have been anyone in that moment. I felt bad for John as he was just a kid but people don’t realise that Gaby wasn’t thinking of getting with some sort of Prince Charming, she was just looking to get revenge. And it’s sad cause it was a total abuse of an innocent teen.

The Timberwolves look extremely disorganised offensively…

I’m not going to put all of that on our Spurs defense. No doubt we’ve given them problems but there are times the Wolves just look extremely untidy, forcing poor quality shots, and Randle and McDaniels are key culprits. This is why a good playmaker, someone who can take all the pressure off of their young guards (Shannon, Ant and Ayo) to do what they’re not accustomed to would have helped them a lot more in this series against us.

A lot of their offense is just sauntering past half court and running some haphazard pick-and-roll with Gobert, or that and Shannon or someone else cutting down low but getting scared off by Wemby or Kornet, and/or Randle eventually getting possession and being shut down by Carter or Champagnie to his surprise. Their possessions consistently take upwards of 12-16 or more seconds out of the shot clock, they’re not able to set up as smoothly as they’d like which just screams lack of good play making.

Ant has been the only guy consistently generating his own offense and effectively.

I realise Vic has been a bit part of making the Wolves sweat a lot when the Wolves penetrate to the rim, but the Wolves would have had big chances in this series if they had a better structure to their offense and some actual ways to draw Wemby off and get open looks inside or on the perimeter. Now? It’s arguable they should already be in Cancun by now, our Spurs blew that first home game and the second away game was definitely winnable if we didn’t make mistakes down the stretch.

What is Dylan Harper’s ceiling?

In just his first season with the San Antonio Spurs he’s proven himself to be an extremely polished and well-rounded NBA guard, can slash the hoop and opposing defenses with the best of them, very careful with the ball, great off-ball movement and is great at putting his body on the line for offensive rebounds and second chance points. He’s also steadily improved this season defensively, he probably has elite upside on that side of the ball too. Has proven himself in this Timberwolves series to be able to take on POA defense. He also is extremely tough mentally - he’s taken physical battering this series and all playoffs and has pushed through it.

He’s got to be considered a future superstar at the least and perennial all-NBA at a minimum imo. What do yall think.

Despite all the muscle on Duren - he seems extremely, hopelessly soft.

He has performed atrociously this entire playoffs despite being amazing in the regular season and will earn an all-NBA selection most likely. Otherwise, Cunningham and others on his team are covering up his poor decision making, regressed defense and lack of self-trust. It seems like a totally different person on the court right now.

My question is, why the change? Why’s he so soft like charmin’ all of a sudden? You’d figure this would be his chance to show out but he’s shrunk in a big way. Not to mention all that muscle on him just seems like gloss in these playoffs when he faces tougher more physical defenses and pressure. It’s sad to watch.

You can use multiple settings that each character has had to work their way through.

R1: Bourne, Wick and Punisher go through the Dredd-like apartment complex that Rama had to overcome in Raid 1. Then, they need to take down an international syndicate like Raid did in Raid 2.
R2: Rama, Bourne and Punisher go guns blazing against the heavily armed criminals that Wick faced in his movies.
R3: Assume that Bourne, Wick and Rama become the deliverers of punishment… but only against the realistic non-superhuman enemies of the Punisher/Marvel verse.
R4: and finally, Wick, Rama and Punisher take on the dangerous web of espionage and counterespionage networks and highly elite trained killers Bourne has to navigate… you can use the book and movie bourneverse for this.

Who comes out on top the most often? Consider each round from a physical and mental endurance perspective, hand-to-hand and gun combat proficiency, tactical awareness and overall competence in dealing with danger.

Does anyone know why Mike had so many partners in love with him? He must be doing something right (guessing sexually) to have the likes of Edie, Susan and Katherine all over him, even pining over him lmao. Can any people here describe why he was so popular despite being so boring?

Same with Tom. He was so boring when he wasn’t being actively irritating to Lynette. He also compared to the others because of his chapped mouth. Lips that were so dry they’d crack with a bit of exposure to moisturiser, that he’d pout with whenever Lynette said or did something that he didn’t like. Whenever he made that pouty face… you have to wonder why Lynette didn’t commit lose her mind each time.

Like take Karl and Carlos - both high powered rich guy types, masculine, attractive and highly entertaining characters compared to Tom and Mike yet they didn’t have women pining for them all that often. What’s the difference here? Did Cherry misunderstand the characters he wrote fundamentally?
