I’m currently running a service-based business and looking to test new ideas.

This time I’m specifically searching for service-based businesses with cheap conversions (not just cheap clicks) — meaning:

- Low competition

- Leads that actually convert into paying clients

- Not oversaturated markets

I’m especially interested in “boring” or underrated local services that most people ignore but still have solid demand.

For example:

- Cleaning services

- Sofa / mattress cleaning

- Car detailing

But I feel like there are still a lot of hidden opportunities where:

👉 Not many people are advertising

👉 Cost per conversion stays low

👉 Easy to close clients

So I’m curious:

What service-based businesses have you seen (or run) that still have low competition and cheap conversions?

Hey, I’ve been on Reddit for a long time but I’ve never really posted anything 😅😅

I wanted to make this post so we can share business ideas and techniques that have worked for you, etc.

I’ll start:

I run a sofa and mattress cleaning business in the south of France. Here’s how I built it: I created a landing page that converts well and launched Google Ads. (I’ve been doing websites and Google Ads for about 8 years now, so I have some experience — I’ve also done it for around 10–16 clients already.)

In the first few days, maybe around day 5 or 6, I already got my first lead. Nothing crazy, but every win counts. My CPC was around €4 at the start, but over the past 2 years it dropped to about €2, which is really good.

I also tried Meta Ads and LSA, but honestly it didn’t perform that well for me.

This year I tried window cleaning as well, but CPC was much higher and competition was even tougher.
