I've read about this specific problem on here, but I haven't had any problems. Mazda sent this letter to get a software refresh. The entire process is free of course and it costs 1.5 hours of your time. I'm going to get it done in a few weeks. On another note, I refilled my tank, hit the highway for 53 miles and averaged 43mpg. I find it's the city driving(hills) that lowers my average.
