I’ve been experiencing really low volts running a 90Amp @3000rpm alternator (1.4Hdi 69Hp(Nice))
I’ve been wanting to replace my alt but with my 206’s stock and old electrical system i don’t think it would withstand it (and i don’t even want to touch it)
I’ve had the amazing idea to run a second alternator and battery cell completely separated from the stock system
The space for a second one can be found but i don’t know what to do to have the alternating current transformed to DC so that i can charge and keep the second LTO battery charged
I want it because i’ve got a 3.5kw sub and a 3kw amp (All RMS @4Ohm)
And also 4 300W RMS woofers paired with a 4 channel 400 watt per channel amp (@4Ohms)
I need to know just how can i find a new serpentine belt that fits the other alt and how can i use the current that’s being generated (the other alt pushes 360Amp @2000rpm)
i’m looking to use 70mm2 ofc cables from the 2nd alt to the battery (mounted in the back which is roughly 4.5m of cable away)
The battery is a LTO cell pack (120Ah 13.9v)
Thanks in advance for the help.
