So on my old Chevy project the chrome is in a near non existent state. I’m trying to finish this on a budget. I’m planning on painting it black again and I’m wondering if painting the old chrome bumpers a bright silver how good/bad would this turn out? If anyone has done something like this could you send a picture?

I plan on taking all the trim off as-well so the only chrome that would be on the car would be the bumpers and grill.

I’m taking the body off my 1950 Chevy and I want to paint the frame along with the floor pans etc. which primer would work better if anyone’s had any experience using either. I will be cleaning off the frame obviously before painting over it with rustoleum tractor paint. Any help is appreciated!
