Need opinions on a kitbash

Hey there! I'm building my next mini for the Nemesis Claw kill team, the ventrilokar. And I don't like the suggested look of it, so I thought about doing a small kitbash. I'm pretty decided on the overall look, but I can't decide on how I'm doing the weapon. Which one among the first three pictures do you like the best? (Other ones are how I'm tying in the "ventrilokar" aspect to the mini, attaching the body to the backpack)

In midnight clad... But in plasma glow!

After trials, tribulations and life getting in the way, I'm finally done with my Night Lords, nemesis claw gunner operative. What a mouthful lol.

That mini was my first try at a proper OSL, my first time painting a plasma rifle, and also the first time trying my hand at using Vallejo TMM paints.

I'm super stoked of the results. I've been a bit bolder with the amount of contrast in values, but although it's not easy to trust the process at times, I feel that it ties in really well, be it the armor or the pauldron's skulls. I'm also having way too much fun with fluorescent paints haha. Night lords are really fun to paint colour scheme wise, I'm happy I chose them as my first kill team/army. I've been listening to their lore at work these days, and it's greaaaaaat too!

Speed aside, what should I work on to improve from there? I don't see any glaring flaws, but I'm confident experienced eyes might pick up things I don't.

That's the 6th mini I've done, it took me 28 hours of work, and a lot of that was me going back and forth between the details and cleanup.

I think I'll call him Bob. Say hello to Bob!
