Does anyone know why my Instagram is stuck in one country when I'm not even there?

I'm using already using the local wifi in the country that I'm currently in and gave Instagram access to my location but I'm still receiving ads and my trending audios when posting is all localised to the country I was in a month ago. I also already tried reinstalling the app as well and nothing changed.

Does anyone know how to fix this?? I tried looking for solutions and all of them say its to with my device IP address. But that doesn't really make sense anymore.
