I just got the G522s and I’m having trouble getting my phone (S24 Ultra) to even recognize the headphones—by that I mean they don’t show up in the list of devices, so I can’t connect to them.
It’s worth mentioning that my computer did recognize them, and so did my Steam Deck.
Also, one strange thing I noticed, coming from using my G733, is that the sound from the G522 is much quieter at the same volume level. For example, my G522 at 30% volume sound just as loud as my G733 at only 15%, not to mention that the latter also sounds “crisper.”
Another thing is that I don’t like the way the headphones sound; it’s muffled. If I had to compare it, it sounds like when your ears are plugged (or like when DTS was enabled on my G733—it sounded awful). I’ve tried several different EQs, and while some like “General & Music by GadgetryTech” and “SNP H.CURVE” improve it a lot, it still sounds strange.
I’d appreciate any suggestions!
