Had to file my first dispute; what are my chances?

I recently purchased a high end, secondhand sweater, and the description didn’t mention or highlight any flaws. When I received it, there were several flaws in in, including a place along the hem where there was a big knick in the knitting as well as five places where the yarn on the embroidered areas was cut and beginning to unravel. I reached out to the seller and politely pointed out the flaws, including photos, and her response was to completely dismiss me, tell me it was a vintage sweater, and that it was worth ten times what I paid (it was not).

I then filed an “item not as described” complaint with Poshmark, and her response there was that she had furnished photos while still claiming the item was in excellent condition. I responded that “excellent condition” wouldn’t mean my having to immediately take the item in for repairs in order to keep it from falling apart.

I just want to be able to return the item and have my money refunded. Is Poshmark going to give me a hard time about this?

I have a bunch of semi higher end clothes and shoes, some NWT, that I want to start listing on Poshmark (think Frances Valentine, Lilly Pulitzer, Anyi Lu, Ferragamo, Rowing Blazers, etc.). I have a lot of experience selling on eBay, though not clothing. Any advice for a selling newbie, in terms of photography, general dos and don’ts, and other best practices?

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
