I’m USPP, our District 2 typically interacts with NoVA agencies like PFPA and CIA SPS.
I know GRS is their big hot shit security gig and all those guys are former SEALs and MARSOC and Rangers etc. etc. all the books and podcasts and shit are about them yadda yadda
But I’m curious if the SPS ever has officers guard facilities overseas or they assist GRS. I know the CIA has executive protection agents but I always figured those guys were more for the upper-echelon protective details like the director, deputy director etc.
TL;DR do SPS officers ever go overseas and do protection or is it entirely GRS?
