My Lenovo LOQ warranty is expiring next month, including the 1-year ADP (Accidental Damage Protection). I’m confused about whether I should extend the warranty and which package is actually worth it.

Laptop specs:

Lenovo LOQ 15IAX9D2
i5-12450HX
RTX 3050 6GB (95W)
16GB DDR5 RAM
512GB Gen4 SSD

Usage:
Mostly gaming, college/study work, multitasking, and I plan to keep this laptop for at least 4–5 more years. I’ll probably upgrade RAM and SSD later.

Questions:

How many years should I extend the warranty for?
Is Premium Care worth it over normal/basic warranty?
Should I extend ADP too, or is it not worth the extra money?
If ADP is recommended, then how many years should I extend it for?
For LOQ users specifically, have you actually needed warranty/ADP after the first year?

My laptop also runs pretty hot during gaming sometimes(GPU temp is 85 And cpu hitting 95 with vents clean), so I’m wondering if longer warranty coverage would be safer.

Would appreciate real experiences and suggestions before spending money on extensions.

I’ve been using my laptop for almost a year now (it’ll complete 1 year this July), and I wanted some advice regarding thermals and future upgrades.

Specs:

CPU: Intel i5-12450HX (12th Gen)
GPU: RTX 3050 Laptop GPU (6GB, ~95W TGP)
RAM: 16GB DDR5
Storage: 512GB Gen 4 SSD
Laptop: Lenovo LOQ 15

Issue:
Lately, I’ve been noticing high temperatures while gaming:

GPU temps: around 80–85°C
CPU temps: going up to 95–99°C

I’ve already:

Cleaned the fans properly
Started elevating the laptop while using it

But the temps are still pretty high.

Now I’m confused:

Is this normal for this kind of hardware?
Or could it be a thermal paste issue even though the laptop isn’t even 1 year old?

Upgrade Questions:
I’m planning to upgrade:

SSD (for more storage)
Maybe RAM (thinking of going 32GB)

So I wanted to ask:

Will upgrading RAM actually benefit performance in this system?
Is 16GB already enough for gaming + normal use?
Will this laptop be good enough for the next 3–4 years (with upgrades)?
