Got quoted $180 for a GPU repaste. Unsure if this is a fair price.
I have contacted 2 separate companies about a thermal repaste for my AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT.
One place quoted me $180, the other place quoted me "$199-214"
I feel like this is a ridiculous price because the card itself is only like $500-700.
I built my PC, but taking apart my GPU makes me a little scared and I'm not sure this is something I could do myself without issue.
Are the estimates I was provided a fair price for the work required for a professional to repaste my GPU?
Any insight to the matter is greatly appreciated.
