Reserved Color Question
I wanted to make sure Google wasn't lying:
If I set a color channel of a fixture to Reserved, is it then not included in color calculations for things like gel pallets?
I have a couple of generic lights like the Beetopper LF4808
https://www.amazon.com/Betopper-LF4808-Blinder-Lighting-Uplights/dp/B0FB2XHN6S
The white channel just controls the "Blinder" strip in the middle. The problem is, now it messes up with the colors as it is trying to use this bright strip for white. I would just be using them for wash so I don't really care about the white strip and will just set it to Reserved if that solves the problem.
Unless there is another way to set it so that channel won't be used during color calculations that I'm missing.
