Is there a way to set a release time for a flash when the fader for that same playback is at a certain value?
Example of what I want : Playback release set to 0.60s -> Intensity fader at 10% -> quickly activate & release the FLASH -> the intensity goes to full and returns to 10% in 0.60s instead of instantly
For that result I use 2 playbacks but that's a bummer.

Hi everyone! I’ve just started using MagicQ and I’m a bit confused about the workflow.
Can someone explain why the system is split between Cue Stacks and Playbacks? To me, it seems like extra work. Why can't I just trigger my Cue Stack directly and have all the controls (like Go, Pause, Rate) right there?
Why do I have to "assign" it to a Playback first to get full control? It feels like I'm creating a "middleman" for no reason. Is there any benefit to this, or is it just how lighting consoles used to work in the past?
I'm probably missing something very basic, so please help me understand the logic behind this "double" system!
Channel 1 of my show just won't release and anytime there's data, it stays at 0%(IM) and keeps the lights off. I've created a new show and patched to the same channel and it works just fine. What is going on, any help please!
Hello everyone I have a question
Is there a way to somehow bind the "DBO" (blackout) button on any of the key in your pc keyboard? I know that you can get dbo on the executor by the assign special button --> special --> DBO, but when I try to click on it, it toggles and just stays that way (cant turn it off) unless you add a "DBO inactive" button to turn it off but still you can't toggle it simply and it just doesn't work well. I've read somewhere that you can do it with macro by simply starting it (the macro), clicking the DBO button, ending it and assigning to any keyboard key, but in my case that doesn't work out either. Or is there any other way to make a blackout button (setting everything at 0 and recording it doesn't work in my case, because I need to have control of my intensity fader - its always up, even when I select the above programmer option) I would be very grateful for some tips - thanks in advance.
