As the title said, I'm tired of AI being in many videos I see daily on the internet. I'm tired of having to doubt every single thing I see (it's not good to believe everything on the internet obviously, but now we are reaching exasperating levels).

I'm not even talking about shitposting that has been clearly made with AI. It harms the planet but it's kind of hilarious and at least it doesn't try to convince us it's real.

I am talking about random videos, wholesome, casual and normal videos that have been injected with AI or made with AI from scratch. One second I'm laughing or smiling and the second after I feel really bad of not having understood it's AI.

In the past, even if the video turned out to be altered by some kind of program, at least it was human and I actually felt the need to praise the person for making it so realistically that fooled a lot of people. It was so inspiring to see a human make something so realistic. It takes a lot of skill and YEARS of learning. It's not prompting, it's HOURS and HOURS of work and study.

Now I just feel extreme disgust in learning that the video has been modified (because, unless specified, it's AI), it makes me doubt my power in recognizing AI and to avoid it.

I feel like I'm getting fooled on daily basis by trolls. Everyone can modify a video nowadays. Everyone can create a deepfake nowadays. No skill needed, if you are a bad person, you can harm people with no need to put effort in it. I don't think that's a good thing. What do y'all think?
