Meet Finn… a beautiful, gentle girl who almost didn’t get her chance—but now she has one. 💛
Finn was facing euthanasia at Vernon Parish Animal Shelter simply because there was no space left. Not because she was aggressive. Not because she was beyond help. Just because no one had come for her in time.
I couldn’t let that be the end of her story… so I pulled her, and now she’s safe in foster care. 🐾
Now Finn just needs her forever home.
She’s about 1–2 years old, around 41 lbs, spayed, vaccinated, and full of quiet love. She is heartworm positive, but that’s treatable—and she deserves the chance to heal in a home that cares about her.
Finn is a gentle soul. She leans into kindness, bonds closely with her person, and truly just wants a calm place to land—a soft bed, a peaceful environment, and someone who will finally choose her for good. She is fully house trained, good with dogs of all sizes, cats, and appears also good with kids.
She does best with women and would thrive in a home with another dog to play with. She does warm up to men with cheese bribes, though! She will need a home without poultry (she’s a little too interested in chickens), but aside from that, she’s simply looking for love and stability.
She’s already been saved… now she just needs someone to give her the life she was meant to have.
If you’ve been thinking about adopting, please consider Finn. She’s ready to give her whole heart to someone who won’t give up on her. 💕
