5.11 AMP Backpack alternatives or crossover suggestions?

I have a 5.11 AMP 12 backpack and I really like the design, harness and the customisation it offers. I find it very comfortable to carry even fully loaded. I like that you can also use a hydration bladder with it. I like that it’s functional but not overly tactical (like rush series).
I really like this pack EXCEPT for the “water bottle sleeves”. Horrible. The opening is too small and it’s a pain to take water bottles in and out. Just Horrible. When I hike then it’s not a problem since I can use a hydration bladder but for day to day I carry my water bottle and that of my 4 year old kid.
I was wondering if there is something similar to the 5.11 AMP but with better water bottle pockets? Or a crossover bag? Not full tech/edc and not fully hiking pack. I looked at the Evergoods MPL 22 but I’m not sure… I heard the harness isn’t comfy and looks a bit strange when fully packed out.
Any suggestions?
