So I have my realm on bedrock that's around 5-6 weeks old and we have gotten over 1000+ days. Only about a week ago or so we came across some really heavy lag and managed to pinpoint that a few specific chunks in an area are to blame. Apparently.
Whenever someone is on that area the whole server gets super laggy and we need to eat like 5 seconds to actually eat once, hits do not register and more.
I thought it could be mobs so I went into spectator and checked and lit up every cave below or near the laggy area. Nothing changed.
Then we thought it could be the add-ons to blame. We currently have 17 add-ons and we had no issue for all this time except the lower end players take 1 second to open their inventory.
I downloaded copies of the realm's world and started taking mods out one by one until it was not laggy anymore.
After taking out 4 add-ons the world was fixed. But I don't know why I tried to do it again just to be sure which mods were to blame.
I followed the exact same process making a copy and deleting the same mods and on the same order even and it's still laggy.
We really are desperate to fix it and cannot seem to come up with a solution and we are also realy confused as to why the first copy is lag-less and the second isn't even though they have the exact same mods.
TLDR: realm is suddenly laggy whenever anyone is on a specific area of spawn. Cannot fix it. Backup world with less mods work. Tried replicating it and it wasn't fixed the second time.
