After seeing multiple posts about smelly litter boxes…I felt compelled to share!

Firstly, I have had indoor cats my entire life. I am 51. My friends and family do not hold back on making comments on litter smell. My Dad especially likes to make comments when he visits. I have changed my life, my cat’s life, and my Dads with one simple change…INVEST IN A STAINLESS STEEL LITTER BOX.

No more bleaching, no more vinegar, no more soaking boxes, no more endless trials of various and sundry litter. It is worth the money.

The fact this never occurred to me, makes me so mad. Stainless steel is used in industrial and restaurant kitchens for a reason…they don’t absorb smells. They even sell little stainless steel bars to rub on your hands…BECAUSE THEY ELIMINATE ODORS.

Plastic litter boxes absorb urine, especially when your cat’s claws make endless little grooves while scratching around. My Dad thought I’d gotten rid of my cat on his last visit. As if.

Save up, buy one, live in odorless peace.

I’m worried I love my cat too much 😂

I’ve had wonderful cats my whole life. My last girl and I spent 15 years together and I still miss her grumpy a$$. After her passing, I waited a few months and then got a kitten. She is hands-down, the most social and friendly cat I have ever had. She greets everyone who comes into my house with a request for ‘uppies’ and a cuddle. She’s also a supermodel. I have found myself ‘cat-astrophizing’… I love her so much and now I am convinced that I won’t have her for long, which is frankly, insane. Does anyone else ever think about losing their baby too soon? She’s 1 now, and truly perfect 😍

Update: it’s midnight and she currently has the ‘post poopy Zoomies’ and is wreaking havoc throughout the house 😑 she’s still a nutty cat after all.

I’m so fed up with the ‘shame’ so many people in our society put on those of us who have struggled with obesity using the drug to better our lives…and getting labeled as a quick fix or laziness. So many even hide it. Meanwhile, celebs, most of whom were never even CLOSE to obese gleefully brag about the use. To be fair, I watch a lot of trash TV, but I’ve seen two people on very popular Reality TV shows openly using the drug, taking injections on camera, while everyone applauds them and makes jokes and they get no push pushed back or shaming at all. Neither of these people were even overweight to begin with. A third individual shared shes been using them and shes 96lbs and 5’11! Talk about ED culture…but us biguns…how dare we!

I have so enjoyed this sub after leaving ‘the other one’ 💕

I was late to the Pokémon craze and game as someone who is a bit older…but a colleague introduced me when the online version launched in 2016. I have loved it and played it consistently for almost a decade. Im mostly a collector, but even got on board with battles, and raids. Ive played all over the world to try and catch regionals, I’ve even spent a decent amount of money on eggs, special fests and so on. But, I’ve basically stopped playing the last six months as there are so rarely new gens or mons introduced. It’s like 3 a year? Every time I log in it’s just boring 5 year old mons…crazy dynamax shit and so on. Just curious if I missing something or if others are hanging up the towel?
