Sleeves for ltd. pressings: do you keep them?

I don’t usually keep my records in plastic sleeves. Mostly because it’s annoying and they shred easily, but also worries of holding mold and mildew. I got a limited pressing of this album and the sticker says it is number 114 of 300. This of course isn’t anywhere else on the actual record or sleeve. Would it be a sin to throw it away? Will it actually hurt the value or is that made up when these “limited” pressings seem to be a dime a dozen these days? I don’t anticipate selling it ever—I collect to enjoy, not to flip, so I don’t *really* care—but I want to make sure I’m not gonna kick myself later if this thing is suddenly valuable but only with the plastic sleeve haha

This is probably a dumb question, but I cannot for the life of me find a replacement for this thing that came out of my ceiling fan. No combinations of googling these cryptic runes yield anything close to this. It’s less than 5 years old, so idk why it’s even dead.
