Just need reassurance

I have already posted about this but I am just such an over-thinker and it’s just got 100 times worse since becoming a mum.

Anyway, I started Ferber 7 days ago and it was going well, down to 1 night wake, still woke early, between 5am to 5:45am but I was ok with that as I put him on my chest for an hour.

BUT last night he woke at 3:45am and wouldn’t settle back in his bed and had already woken once before then, so I put him on my chest and he slept until 7am so I am guessing he’s undertired

He’s 18 weeks and was on 1.5/2/2/2/2.5 but today I switched to 2/2.5/2.5/3 and I’m just worried it’s too early for that schedule, just feel so overwhelmed and just need reassurance 😩

How to stop early morning wakes? Please help!

I started sleep training 6 days ago and it’s gone very well! I did Ferber and I have never had to do a check in as he’s asleep before the time is up. The night wakes are now down to 1 to 2, the last 3 nights it’s only been one - he’s 4 months old

The only thing is he is waking very early, so from 5am to 5:45am, so i put him on me so he sleeps until 6:30am so not to push bedtime too early. I ideally would want him to sleep until 7am but I am ok with 6:30

I have a consistent bedtime routine.
Schedule 1.5/2/2/2/2.5
Nap total 3h
Bedtime 8pm

He did wake one time during the sleep training at 6am and before I started the sleep training in the mist of the 4m sleep regression he did a random night of 7:30pm to 7am with 2 wakes.

Any thoughts on this?

Side carrier/ hip sling - when can I start using them

My LO is 4m old and has excellent head and neck control, also can hold his head up for long periods during tummy time. Has rolled front to back twice but it made him upset so he hasn’t tried again 😂 can also mostly rolled back to back but hasn’t worked out how to move his arm.

Anyway, when can I start using a side carrier/ hip sling?

Think I just sleep trained

My LO is just over 4 months old and for the last month I have stopped rocking or feeding to sleep, from 3m to 4m I put down drowsy with hand on chest and he would fall asleep within a few mins, since being 4m, I would put down wide awake and again hand on chest and he would fall asleep within 15mins. I was doing this ready to start Ferber when 5m as he started the 4m regression at 3m - his sleep has been getting better slowly but still not as good as before the regression.

Anyway, tonight I was doing the same as usual but he was just screaming his head off, to the point I was nearly in tears and felt incredibly overwhelmed etc. so I had to leave the room, within 5 mins he was fully asleep, I was shocked but also feel guilty, I just keep reminding myself that I am just reaching him independent sleep.. I can’t believe he fell asleep so fast!

My LO is 4m and he started the 4m sleep regression at 3m. I want to sleep train but I am waiting til he’s 5m as I am going to visit family in a different country for two weeks so didn’t want start before we go away

Anyway, I have started putting him in his bassinet awake and hand on chest with me shushing, it’s been going pretty well and he normally falls asleep within 10 to 15mins with minimal fuss and he now self soothes at night. I have also stopped feeding to sleep for naps and bedtime for at least a month now

However, when it gets to about 2 to 3am he just won’t settle back into his own bed and I really at my wits end - why is this happening?

He has a consistent bedtime routine.
Wakes around 6am to 7am - bedtime is 7pm to 8pm
Wake windows - 1.5/2/2/2.15/2.15 - nap total is 3h so total wake time is 10h’s

How overtired would a baby need to be to start effecting night sleep?

Since joining this sub I know believe my baby was not getting enough awake time in the day but everything online was saying my baby was overtired, no mention of undertired so I kept reducing his last ww

Just curious to know when does overtired become a problem

He’s just turned 4m so I have upped his ww to 1.5/2/2/2/2, will soon do 2/2/2/2/2 and by the time he’s 5m will drop the fourth nap and go to 2/2.5/2.5/3, maybe more if he’s low sleep needs but I don’t think he is

Hello people of Reddit- need advise on my schedule before I star sleep training my LO

He will be 4 months in a weeks time - he currently sleeps 3.5h per day over 4 naps. His last ww is 2h and the rest are anywhere between 1.5h to 2h.

Wakes 7am - bedtime 7:30/45pm - so 9h of awake time.

Going forward I am going to twitch to 1.5/2/2/2/2 - making his wake time 9.5.

So my questions are:

Does he need more awake time during the day?
Shall I cap his naps at 3h?
Shall I extend any of his ww?

My LO will be 4 months in just over a week and his last wake window has been 2h, I follow his wake windows through the huckleberry app and sometimes it suggest the last wake window to be 1h 30m - shall I just keep it to 2h

He wakes at 7am and bedtime is around 7:30/45pm
Nap total is normally 3h 30m over 4 naps

So WW throughout the day is 1.5h to 2h

I’m so confused on this and really want some advice!

My LO is 3.5 months old and his last wake window is typically 2h and in that time I do his bedtime routine.

I follow his ww through the huckleberry app and it gives me different last ww like some days it suggests 1h 30m to 2h - shall I just keep his last ww at 2h?

Bed time is 7:30pm to 7:45pm and wake time is 7am - he has 4 naps per day totalling 3h 30m most days with the last nap being the shortest at 30mins

Any thoughts on this is much appreciated :)
