This just started growing in one of my pots last year and I had no clue what it was. Once I realized it was a cactus I thought that maybe it was a prickly pear that grew from some droppings or some sort. I don't believe that's what it is now, since it doesn't have the typical paddle shape. I thought maybe someone could help me identify it, it might be obvious but I honestly can't say for certain what it is.
The large piece is the main that started growing, and the little ones are from pieces I've plucked off and stuck in the soil. Some of the spots have been damaged by a caterpillar from last year.
*EDIT* I ask chat gpt about it and it says that it looks like it could be a dragon fruit cactus. Which I guess does make sense because I have been having a hard time keeping the main plant upright, it needs some support plus it just started growing from nowhere but what I had assumed to be from bird droppings. I'm just still not 100% sold on that either though based on how it looked right before I took those cutting off. It seems to be the most likely answer but if someone else has any input it would be appreciated.
