My gf (F28) and I (f28) have been together for 7 months. Everything is going well in general, some minor arguments that we have managed to solve just like every other relationship but something just happened and I don't know, it feels weird I want to know if I'm overreacting or not.
I live in her country, but my family lives in my home country. A few days ago I was hanging out at her place and we had some friends over and I offered to wash the dishes while she took a shower. It was not a lot of washing, but I somehow managed to cut my finger, nothing too deep, just a little scratch.
Today, she is hanging out at my place and my sister gave me a call, at some point of the call my nephew showed me a cut he has on his finger, I showed him mine. My sister asked how I got it and I just said "oh yeah, i cut my finger washing the dishes at my gf's place the other day". My gf was OFFENDED that I told her because she said my sister is now going to think that she makes me wash and clean her place. I told her this is not the case, but she was like "be careful about what you're telling her" this made me feel weird because I was in a very toxic situation some years ago and I don't want to ignore red flags anymore.
Do you have any advice for me?
