Little context. I have both gens and reps. Love them. Most are in my fashionable wheelhouse, nothing is really “gaudy” or over me I would say. But I want one piece, the Daytona JM (open to other ideas) to have as my flashy side chick.

Diamonds and stones are not for me. But I need help with definitely a gold or rose gold (would entertain a rootbeer I suppose).

The problem. The Daytona JM has a shit bezel from any factory (painted, wack), or is there a factory that makes a good one?

I’m going to have it plated, so that’s covered. Other than weight, plating, bezel, am I missing anything?

All that said, I’m not making an expensive franken, not there yet, but what factory should I get the watch from that might best suit this project?

Interested to see what everyone’s hobby setup looks like so I can get some ideas!

Looking to learn more about reps, dissect them in the name of science and tinker. If you have a broken rep, even a shitter, let me know and perhaps you can get some $ for it!

Forgive me if this is the incorrect place for this - MODS feel free to delete if the case. I’m trying to learn a couple or a few of the rep movements more in depth. Is RWI th best place for that? Is there a channel or anything that shows services/mods etc to learn more about that? Or do people usually keep that close to the chest. Thanks for reading if you got this far.
