Am I in the wrong here?

I am currently feeling uncomfortable at work because of an incident that occurred yesterday and today.

Here is my timeline

05/07/2026

11:00am: Clock in to work (I usually work 9am-5:30pm on regular days but I had a doctor's appointment

1:00pm: I ask my supervisor If I could take my lunch and he says "no." His reasoning for this was because the administrator had told him to keep an eye on me because he had a feeling, I would want to take a lunch (This is verbatim). I asked twice because I was hungry since I did not eat for my doctor's appointment, both times I was told no. I followed my supervisors' instructions and continued working through my shift.

**In California, you are entitled to take a 30 minute break if you work more than 5 hours. I worked 6.5

9:26am: HR calls me and tells me to fill out a time adjustment form because I missed my lunch punch in/punch out. I explained to her that I was instructed not to. She asks if my supervisor was the one that said this and I said "yes." She told me that I needed to take one because I was entitled to one since I worked 6.5 hours. I bring this up to my supervisor and he said that he only told me that because he thought I was leaving at 5:00pm. His reasoning changed from yesterday and it was also inaccurate because my normal time is 9am-5:30pm and I never mentioned needing to leave at 5:00pm. He then tells me to edit my time via form, but I refused because I did not take a lunch and would lose out on my worked hours. He then pulls me into a private conversation and tells me "I'm your friend so I need to tell you to be careful. The administrator has already told me he wants to let you go for underperformance and wants to know what duties you're doing for the office." I found this odd because I have no write ups regarding my performance and I follow the duties that were given to me based on our office's segregation of duties. I actually assist the office duties that are not listed on my list of duties. The timing of this conversation made me uncomfortable.

Throughout the day my supervisor kept asking me to change my time via form and I kept telling him I wanted to have a 1 on 1 with the administrator. The administrator did not make time for me and when I went to speak to him again, he told me my supervisor had to be present, but I had requested a private conversation. The conversation did not end up happening because the administrator claimed to be busy which I understand. I simply wanted clarification on these claims and explain why I had a meal penalty in the first place.

4:00pm: I end up signing the form because it's close to end of day and no conversation was had. They ended up changing my clock in time to give me those 30 minutes and adding a meal break. I signed off. There's been previous times where I have to adjust my timecard because I have "unapproved" overtime.

I wanted to send an email to the administrator explaining the situation, but I am afraid of retaliation. I'm not asking for legal opinion, but I am feeling uncomfortable because of the claims my supervisor made of management wanting to let me go. Am I wrong for feeling this way?
