Wife gave the okay for a threesome. After a lot of long discussions, we are hoping to take baby steps into it. We first wanted to try an MFM experience for her, with the possibility of trying FMF later on.

After doing a lot of reading, it sounds like finding a guy for an MFM might not be as difficult as finding a girl for an FMF. After researching this more, would it be a bad idea to look for another couple instead?

At least early on, both my wife and I want to be included in each other’s experiences. Right now, that’s my wife’s main rule, and I think it’s reasonable in case one of us realizes in the moment that it’s too emotionally overwhelming or just too much in general. That way, we can back out with each other’s support, or one spouse can tell the other they don’t think they can handle it.

Do you think that if we connected with another couple, it would be wrong to ask about trying an MFM situation where their wife watches, with the understanding that if everything goes well, we would return the favor later?

I honestly feel like this might be more mutual and comfortable than trying to find someone for a one-night stand.
