So, I am not really too deep into lore and just watched the anime but I wonder what happened with Mai's dad cuz Mai doesn't seem to care about it or mention him

And as far as I know>! Renée doesn't like Renako because, correct me if I am wrong, she doesn't like the idea of her daughter being with someone like Renako that is supposedly "cheating" on her and has many girls. So maybe Mai's dad was like this and that's why Renée hates Renako because she sees him in Rena? Or he just abandoned them, or just disappeared, or he just ded i dunno!<

So I wonder if we will be able to know who or where is that guy 🤔
