Is this normal?

Hi i bought my iphone 17 pro a few days ago and i noticed compared to my Samsung s22ultra that the screen on the iphone 17 pro is dimmer than the Samsung screen. Like i often have to turn the screen on 100% brightness. Is this a normal issue? It's very annoying.

My doctor recently suggested i should start taking Zoloft but i am not sure.

I have read up on all of the side effects and it looks scary. I don't want to be dependent on drugs to function so I am going to go to a psychiatrist too. But i wonder what you're experience on it has been? I am very skeptical about going on them i am also going to school so the first few weeks of side effects will impact my grades. I am struggling with social anxiety and just normal anxiety.
