I would like some help to see if this would work.
I am very happy with this laptop, but one thing I have been wanting to change is the screen, which is a 60 hertz touchscreen, and I have been thinking of upgrading it to a 144 hertz 1080p screen, which will most likely give up the touchscreen, which I am okay with. One thing I am aware of, though, is that the current panel is a 30-pin, and I have looked on PanelLook for a 144 hertz panel, which all seem to be 40-pin.
I plan to change the video cable from a 30-pin to a 40-pin, and I have found this specific one on Amazon, which is the one I listed. As for the panel, I plan to upgrade my current one to the B156HAN07.0 15.6'' 1920x1080.
I was just wondering if there would be any issues with doing this upgrade, since I can't seem to find any information on upgrading the screen for this specific laptop. Thank you
