I posted about removing a few layers of permanent box dye and semi permanent dye and I got the advice to color remove then bleach, but I couldn't find any color remover in the country im living in right now so I said yolo and just bleached lol. obviously it lifted horrendously (albeit it was a lot lighter in real life than in the photo) and when I went over it with a bubblegum pink, it turned neon pink. I dont have any photos of it dry but here it is lol. its not horrible, tho I did want pastels, but I guess ill have to wait till my hair recovers in a few months to do a second touch of bleach. this was my first time bleaching my hair and im super impressed that I didn't damage it lol. I hated it at first actually but its kinda growing on me.

the pink in my hair is 2 layers of permanent dye and a few coats of semi permanent. i went to sally’s yesterday to get color remover and bleach in order to get the pink pieces to blonde but the worker told me for less damage i should leave the color remover and just do two rounds of bleach so i left with just bleach and the semi permanent dye i wanted (a pastel pink, Frose from Arctic Fox). i wanted to double check if that was the right thing to do? should i really just do 2 rounds of bleach or should i go back for color remover and do one round of that and one round of bleach like i planned initially?
