So I need some outside perspective because I’m overthinking this.

I have a girlfriend, but I’ve never explicitly told this coworker about her. That said, it’s not like I’m hiding it either. I have my girlfriend as my phone wallpaper and I’ve taken calls from her in the office, so it should be somewhat obvious.

There’s this girl at work who regularly brings snacks, chocolates, or food, and she usually shares it with me and one other guy. I didn’t think much of it at first, just assumed she’s being nice.

But today she suddenly asked for my Instagram. I gave it to her without thinking, and she sent a follow request. I haven’t accepted it or followed her back because I feel like my girlfriend wouldn’t like that.

Now I’m just sitting here feeling awkward. I feel like I shouldn’t have given my Instagram in the first place, but also don’t want to make things weird at work.

Am I overthinking this? And what’s the best way to handle this situation without making it awkward or leading anyone on?

Edit: She messaged me on WhatsApp asking me to accept the Instagram request. I haven’t accepted it yet because I’m not comfortable with it, what should i say?
