Long story short, I've been single basically my whole life. Just turned 30 and the only relationship I had ended because we went to different colleges in different states. I haven't tried any dating since ive been 21 because I felt like no one would want me/I couldn't provide for anyone.

I am back in college now after saving money, but between college, bills, and car payments, I do not think I can entertain someone. I know money isnt everything, and I have enough for dates and what not. But I also don't have enough for elaborate dates.

I'm on my 2nd round of college due to me hating my first career choice after really seeing what it was, and now studying to go into nursing.

I am just god awful tired of being alone. I have friends who I love to death, but having someone with you is completely different.

I guess with this post I am asking for any advice or help, that anyone can give me. I just moved states for my college and I know absolutely no one. The area i live in currently seems to be for people well off into their lives (50+). Crashing at my parents while I study so I don't have to worry about rent at the moment. And a large majority of students in my classes are in their teens, which obviously is a no go for any relationship besides friends.

So, my question is, how does one make friends to hang out with their own age in a location where the age group is not there. Or how do I meet someone, long distance or irl (preferable) that I could maybe see a future with? I have no issues talking to people in public, but at the same time I don't like to approach others who already have a group and enjoying their time together?
