I have a 12x12x18 exo terra that I used for my baby crested gecko until he recently grew out of it and got moved into his big boy 70 gallon tank. Now I’m left with this great condition tank and I would love to house something in it! It has a custom cork bark background and has some good depth for bedding as well. I would still need to do a lot of research on whatever potential species I decide to host, but I would love suggestions as to what I could hold in here! Thank you so much!

Hi! I’ve never owned a tarantula before, but my crested gecko has moved out of his baby tank around a year ago into his 70 gallon and I would like to still use my previous tank that I had for him. I made the back wall custom with real cork bark and the way the doors are aligned on the tank, it allows for pretty good substrate depth as well. It has a screen top which I’m not sure if that could be a problem, but if need be I can always make a custom acrylic top. I still have a bucket load of research to due obviously until I decide if that is how I want to use this tank, but I wanted to reach out to people who know what they’re talking about and with experience! I would appreciate species recommendations so I can start researching into the right direction and see if I’m able to provide that maximum care. If you have a better suggestion for how to use this tank that isn’t a tarantula please let me know as well!

Hi! I’m nursing student in my 20s and very much not super educated in cars. I drive a 2010 Lexus RX 450h that’s got about 200k miles on her. I was on my way home after clinical this evening and when I got to my neighborhood a bright red brake light came on the dash and my car started loudly beeping at me. I got confused and pulled over to legit brake my car thinking maybe I hit the emergency brake. When that didn’t make the light go away I decided to keep driving home regardless and figure it out in the driveway. I don’t know if I was imagining it but it felt weird to brake like with the peddle. There is a huge oil splatter on my right rear tire and within five minutes of being parked a huge puddle as well formed. Nothing is hanging out from the bottom of my car but my car is now flashing an ABS light, a brake light, like a car drifting light emoji looking thing, and the hybrid screen is saying “Brake Malfunction” along with loudly beeping at me anytime I open a car door even with it off.

My biggest question is can I even drive my car to a repair shop to get it fixed? If anyone wants to dm me to see the photo I took of how it looks under I can do that as well. I don’t know what’s even wrong so I’m not sure what to expect repair wise.

I’m kind of at my wits end patience wise with this professor. I’m in nursing school right now and already wasn’t super hyped to take this class in the first place. Professors have lives and almost every one I’ve had so far have been beyond amazing at grading on time, or communicating with us if they are behind for various life reasons so we’re aware and not annoying them to death. Over half of our labs, exams, quizzes, and reports are ungraded. I need to maintain a certain GPA to stay in my nursing program so I’m a bit on edge to solidify I’m still good to keep moving forward with my curriculum. My other classes all got in grades by Monday of last week, and I figured I would send her a really nice email Wednesday letting her know a majority of the assignments are still not visible. No reply. I’ve sent her progressive emails over the past few weeks, reminders in class, and used her open hours to ask about these out of fear for this scenario. A lot of the time over this semester she’s told me everything is graded and she’s forgotten to make them viable on our end. Now I’m getting extremely frustrated with this as when I sent her an email Sunday that I was a bit worried I still can’t see my final grade I also did not get a reply. I sent a message on our entire class page this afternoon asking if anyone else has had anything past week 7 graded and no one has. I hate to admit I sent a very snarky email today to her as I’m running out of nice ways to ask. I don’t want to be that person but I think I’m within a reasonable right to escalate this? In her syllabus it states she is supposed to grade within a two week timeline and this has gone way beyond that.
