Wife is out of town for work. It started before I left work. I knew it was going to suck, but I needed to pick up the kid and take her to gymnastics. I suffered through the hour. We get outside and I started puking... A lot. Another dad saw me do it and asked me if I was alright. I obviously wasn't but what can I do? I empty my stomach and get the kid in the car. She puts a puke bag (Amazon purchase that is the best thing ever) by my seat. We get home and I'm still struggling. She watches TV for a while and I try to get it together. I made her a dinner and she played by herself until bedtime (I puke again before bed time) and that ended up being really easy. All said I'm just really proud of my Daughter. She's 5 and she understands that daddy isn't feeling well and she needs to help me. Now I need to survive the night and get her to daycare in the morning. To the dad's in the thick of it with young ones just know that it will get easier and there is always going to be challenges but raising a great kid is worth it.
