Coffee Bar upgrade (before+ after pic)

We’re in the process of updating our kitchen and especially the coffee bar. Used an old desk for the bar for awhile. Everything is coming along. We couldn’t find cabinets that would fit this area. The scale were just too big. We ended up using wall cabinets and I made the toe kick. Then added the butcher block counter. Used the remaining butcher block cut to build the floating shelf. Disconnected the door bell chime and I relocated the thermostat to the other side of the wall. Now choosing backsplash for this and I will be 100% done. I am happy how it turned out. Let me know what you think. Ideas on color for backsplash are welcome. Thanks for dropping by!

Pic order is backwards ( After + Before) 😢
