I’ll be doing a week’s road trip from Gananoque to Eganville, and would like to stay a couple of nights in Quebec. I looked at Montebello, thinking it’d give me a nice taste of Quebec, but unfortunately affordable accommodation is hard to find.
Any other places you can suggest within a few hours of Eganville?
We’ll have a rental car and have 6 days to get to Eganville. Potentially staying 2 nights each at Sandbanks Provincial Park, (or nearby), Gananoque, Montebello then on to Eganville. Are those worthwhile stops? I like the idea of an islands cruise from Gananoque. And a French town experience in Montebello. Advice welcomed thanks.
We’re doing a 6 week visit in July, mainly in Ontario. Will be returning the rental car in Toronto then have a few days spare before catching a flight to Vancouver then home to Australia. We’re seniors and keen to experience a taste of Quebec. Thank you!
