Graduate Student Housing

I was just admitted into a Master's program and will need to move to Hamilton fron Vancouver. What are the options for on-campus housing for graduate students? The housing website is unclear and im not sure if there are even buildings for graduate students. If there's no on-campus housing, what are some apartments close by that people recommend?

I applied to McMaster's MSc in Global Health and Queen's MSc in Aging and Health after being rejected from all schools this round. It's my first time applying to medicine and it was a bit shocking not to receive a single interview with my stats and ECs, but I am trying to move forward to improve my application. Does anyone have experience with doing these programs as a gap year to medicine? Has anyone gotten to medicine in after doing either program or have any thoughts on the quality/usefulness of these programs? I'd like to go back to school in September as I'm tired of working and doing research but I don't want it to be a waste. I believe both of these programs would also allow me to continue applying to medicine next cycle without having to skip one which is nice.

Applied to this 1-year master's program, and the program page says admissions will likely go out by the end of May or later as things change between years. Does anyone who applied last year remember when they heard back? I would need to move for the program so I was hoping to hear back sooner rather than later. Any comments on the competitiveness of admissions too?
