Hey guys, I’m Chrysto, creator of CIFI and ISEPS. I’m not really a Reddit person, so my account showing up as After-Measurement216 feels pretty on point. Help.
I just wanted to take a moment to tell y’all that I’m insanely appreciative of the endless support we’ve received for CIFI. Being among the winners of the Incremental Game of the Year vote three years in a row is honestly mind-boggling.
Truly, it warms my developer heart that long, content-rich, ever-growing idle games still have such a sizable audience. Because of you guys, CIFI has been cemented as an idle game people recommend left and right. That basically means we’re able to live off an organic influx of users, with zero marketing.
Do you know how crazy that is? Unreal!
Five years ago, I was working in a kindergarten and also as a chef. Now I have my own awesome studio with 11 employees (customer support, administrative, server, and four small development teams of 1–2 people each - soon to be expanded). Absolutely wild.
Because of you, I've been able to turn a stressful and honestly not-that-great life into the wildest dream. I'm beyond happy and I am busting my ass off every day to repay that, and I will continue to do so for as long as I can. I am beyond grateful.
It’s been such a crazy ride, and I’m happy to say we’re going to keep going strong. CIFI and ISEPS will continue receiving updates for as long as the support is there. Being in a position where me and my team can focus on content, performance, QoL and community instead of end-of-quarter reports and heavy monetization is honestly kind of unreal in this industry. THANK YOU.
Chad’s Galactic Mining Empire (our next game) is releasing on May 30th (I won’t link it here since this isn’t an ad, just search on the Play Store if you’re interested). We also have a fourth idle game coming next year.
Once those four are out, we’ll have touched on four very different niches within the idle/incremental game world. My dream is to just keep building on those for as long as we can. One performs poorly? Devs stay in job, another game will help fund.
I'm also excited to say that we're able to get a lot of custom art done for all our games, replacing some of the existing art, but also letting us create upgrade menus that are more than just new number-pages. That tell a story. That has a bit of soul. For the millionth time. THANK YOU. You are awesome. You are incredibly appreciated. You put the warmth back in my life. Re-ignited a flame and a passion I hadn't felt in a long time. Truly, from the absolute bottom of my heart and with every fiber of my being, please accept this last profound - thank you!
You’ve genuinely made a massive difference in my life, and I hope I can live up to it. <3
I want to end with a note:
Make sure to go support the developers that create with a passion in this wonderful genre. Go support those that aren't driven by the money they make, but by the people they touch. Those that create for an audience that likes to think. Those that create games that help us learn. Help us feel growth. Help us feel progress. Those that create games that bring us together. The awesome communities that create tools, calculators and guides to further cement it all. The communities that glue it all together. Cheers to the indie developers and the people that surround them. To you guys! <3
If you made it this far down my heartfelt, late-night rant: what are you still doing here? Go make some numbers go up.
Much love,
Chrysto

iOS EDIT:
I took the liberty to copy paste a few responses i made in the comments:
I was an absolute newbie when I started making these games. Currently, the primary reason is that our UI is not allowed on iOS. Lots of important information is hidden beneath camera cutouts and such.
We are working on getting this solved so we can release on iOS. I have zero coding / ui education. I just kinda learned as I went. That said, we are correcting my early mistakes, and games like Chad's Galactic Mining Empire is releasing on iOS much, much faster, as it's built with all those harsh lessons in mind.
Both CIFI and ISEPS should be on iOS during 2027.
Maybe faster as we have a new hiring round of devs coming in soon.
I won't make any promises though so the safe bet is sometime 2027, but rest assured we'll do our best to get it done faster.
