Why not make Reed a Vanguard at this point now?

He already acts like one anyway, and probably won't take not even a season for Reed to be nerfed again since we all Fantastic mains knows the cycle.

If the reason that he gets nerfed is for his high durability for a DPS, why not just make him a vanguard at this point? I really don't see why we can't do that in my opinion.

We need more vanguards anyway so like why not just do that already? He could be another Tank DPS for the role just like Thor is, I know a lot of people don't want him as a vanguard, which to be honest, I don't really understand why, the vanguards already do more damage than him anyway, and Reed sometimes can be a better tank than half of the roaster sometimes, damn even as a "solo tank" sometimes too 😐

They don't even need to change Reed at all, just increase his HP to somewhere 475 to 500 and there you have it, the patch notes didn't really change Reed that much anyway so why not?

Besides we're kinda in need of more vanguards anyway.

I know this post will receive a lot of hate but that's just how I see it as a champion Fantastic.

Can someone explain the slight nerf they gave to Reed Flexible Allegation ability?

I am a little bit confused to be honest, I didn't even know he could apply that to enemies, is it that one immobilizer that we apply to them? I'm now worried I might not be able to get that spider and BP that keeps harassing my healers now.

In fact can someone explain what exactly was the slow effect from Reed?

I might probably not enjoy playing Fantastic the same way right now if he was released today

These past few seasons Rivals has been releasing so many overly complicated characters, both for their kits, and to adapt to them too, I'm actually surprised it didn't took that long for people to adapt to Daredevil when he came out, which for me till this day I still don't fully understand that character yet, and not to mention it hurts my hand everytime I play him, specially on console 🫪

It got me thinking what if they released Mister Fantastic today, how OP and insane that character would have been, we probably would see Reed use a lot of his inventions ngl, but gotta be honest, thank God that he wasn't released today 😭

I'm more the kind of person who likes to play with characters that are simple to understand and learn, in fact that's probably why i liked playing with Fantastic in the first place, I do agree he needs buffs, maybe new abilities too but overall, Reed being a simple character the way he is is what probably made me gain passion to this character in the first place, I guess it's no wonder i'm trash on Wolverine now since he's more complicated to understand compared to Reed.

Before I used to believe he needed to be reworked but now that I'm thinking straight, maybe all he really needs is some buffs and new abilities, at least two abilities or one, and it can be just a mobility ability too, like a swing and a rolling ball who knows, just to help him have more mobility, they did gave that to Adam, and it helped him quite a lot, maybe that's what is missing on Reed aswell.

Decided to try out Fantastic again after a long time, I'm still worthy 🥹

Mister Fantastic standard skin is the only skin that actually makes me feel more motivated and determined to play this character more often and do my best too, probably because it's the only skin where Reed actually looks good xD. Also I removed his champion icon as well too, I think that icon was giving me a lot of pressure into trying my best just because I'm champion Fantastic, and probably what led me to mess up my plays, but after removing it I never felt so free in my life ngl, I kinda miss his regular icon anyway.

Maybe i was wrong about him these past few days 🤔, but still, i'm down for new abilities for Reed NetEase!

Yo is it just me, or does every Fantastic main here has played with Wolverine before?

That's just something I've noticed quite a lot in here 😂, at least once a day I see a Fantastic main mentioning Wolverine in the subreddit either by being relatable on tanking or just comparing with them in general, that's actually kinda sick tho cause I love Wolverine, even when he's chasing me down 😮‍💨.

A shame I haven't got the courage to try him out again in QP, but oh well I haven't been playing with Fantastic either so, guess they're in the same love boat now.

I was going to cry on the Reed mains subreddit, but I guess I'll just probably cry here since it's more focused on ranting about stuff that happens in the game, i'm really sad with the current state of Mister Fantastic.

I'm sad that I can't have fun in this game anymore with my main, i'm sad nobody wants Reed to be buffed and keep letting him suffer in this game, yet they let others stay broken in the game.

I don't even know what I want them to do for Reed anymore, cause at this point anything to adjust this character might make him broken or weak, and guess what, another possible DPS is being released next season, and 100% will be just another counter to Reed, how amazing right? And I bet they'll make him too OP too.

Cyclops being OP is fine but Mister Fantastic being OP is not? The hypocrisy on this playerbase is inadmissible.

I can't tank, I can't dps, and my ult sucks, and they'll probably neglect this character again, or worse they'll nerf him so he'll become worse than Widow at this point, he practically already got nerfed when they implemented the tenacity system in the game.

It's been practically 4 seasons now and not a single buff or rework on his kit, not a single new ability for him, bro I'm tired, i haven't touched Public Match in a long time now, I don't want to be hard stuck on Susan, I want to play with Reed, and I want the game to be fair with him.

But how the game can be fair? I don't know...

The battle pass next season better be good, or else I am completely uninstalling this game from my console, cause i'm done bro, i am legit done now, if I can't have fun with Reed, then I'll stop playing the game and go back to Gacha Club.

I personally want a new reworked ultimate for Reed cause even if they buffed it, it doesn't solve Reed's vulnerability when on it.

I wanna use his ultimate as an inspiration for new abilities for his inflated state mode, in fact I'm working on a new Buff and Changes concept for Reed in next season.

Okay I haven't been interacting on this reddit for some weeks or maybe a whole month now, and to be honest I haven't been playing with Fantastic for a while now, but after so long I finally just decided to admit to myself that Reed's ultimate... is.. terrible 😭🙏, I barely get any kills with that and it just makes Mister Fantastic too vulrable to get killed in it, like yes you can get kills with it, but let's be honest it's just not good, and with the tenacity it just made it even worse.

But I also want give him some kind of buff changes and reworks so he still can keep up in season 8 of Rivals.

ULTIMATE REWORK

My idea is that they rework his ultimate into a giant clap that can reset when he gets a KO, kinda similar to Black Cat and Bucky.

And Reed can get at least 7 seconds to reset his ultimate.

The palm clap should do at least 200 damage on the enemy and it causes them a slow effect once they get hit, the max range of the clap is somewhere 16 feet between him and the enemy.

Oh by the way I forgot to type this yesterday, they need to decrease the cost of Reed's ultimate, from going to 3400 energy to at least somewhere of 2500 to 2800 energy instead, that way it won't take forever to get your ultimate.

STRETCH PUNCH BUFF

His punches are really slow in this season and almost doesn't do any damage, the only way for him to keep up with the season is either by making his punches stronger, or just faster.

OPTION 1

Instead of being 1.1s of interval, they should make it 0.6s of interval so he punches the enemies so much faster.

OPTION 2

They buff the primary damage from 65, to 80 damage, either one way or the other to help him keep up with the speed of the current game now.

FLEXIBLE ELONGATION BUFF

Also they need to buff Reed's backshot ability, it literally does no damage at all, they should make Reed have his backshot ability damage to be increased to at least 40 to 45 damage, and make it so we can backshot 3 times instead of just 2.

And also reduce the cooldown of his abilitiy from 8 to 5 seconds

INFLATED STATE BUFFS AND NEW ABILITIES

For his inflated state mode, make that we can go manually and passively to inflated state without needing the Rocket team up.

They should buff his inflated punches to 90 more damage instead of being just 80 compared to his normal punches, and give him a displacement effect, every time he throws his hands on the enemies he can push them away, kinda what Hulk does on his ultimate.

And they should give us more abilities for when he's on Inflated mode since we can't use our normal ones in this state except for the Reflective Rubber one.

Like maybe a Stronger punch as a second primary ability kinda like Ben Grimm does, and maybe an ability similar to Rogue, he basically puts his arms in front of him that reduces the damage he'll get, making him even more tankier in some ways, also he should be able to give enemies a stun ability for 1.5 seconds while in inflated state, maybe by bouncing on them, kinda like what Kingpin did in Blood Hunt mode.

That would be great NGL and it would make his inflated state feel more fluid to be in to be honest and not feeling like he is basically stuck in one place.

These were just a few ideas I have, I want to keep playing with Fantastic but I also want buffs, please NetEase just give us something, I want to play with my boy again without feeling useless or too vulrable in my teams.
