Budget: $4000-$6000 including lenses and potentially mic

Country: Australia

Condition: New

Type of Camera: Mirrorless

Intended use: Hyrbid shooting for content. (Instagram and YouTube)

End use:
social media, cooking content aswell as interviews and food documentation for YouTube.

If video what style:
Instagram short form portrait, YouTube long from landscape for small documentaries and travel vlog/ doco

What features do you absolutely need:
unsure what I need. I film primarily out doors, with changing lighting, weather can be tough occasionally (won’t film in rain or super hot days), something I can set up relatively quickly and be able to move around quickly when cooking for different stagnant shots, will be having someone down the line to film me for longer format videos so something that can be used my myself or someone else

Portability: small bag preferred as I plan to be moving or in remote areas.

Cameras you're considering:
Sony A7Iv
Sony ZV-E1

Cameras you already have: standard IPhone 17 pro max.
Osmo Pocket 2

Hi all, looking for a solid camera set up for a newbie with time to learn. Basically doing short form cooking content on Instagram with a focus on outdoor cooking and living and looking to go into longer format videos Down the line with mini documentaries and outdoor living.

Any and all advice is greatly appreciated!
