I planned on having my g17 gen 5 milled for an optic so I got this defender st enclosed and then afterwards realized it uses the delta point pro footprint and when your gun is being milled for this footprint they have to remove your rear sight. I really don’t want my rear sight to be removed or moved in front of the optic. Just putting this out there in case anyone else is in this same situation. If you buy an optic with the delta point pro footprint you cannot have your gun milled for it without removing or moving the rear sight to in front of the optic. Sucks too because this is a super nice dot.
