Has anyone experienced this?- getting annoyeddddddd

I have been a diabetic since I was 10 (now 31). I have been using a Tandem pump for about 15 years (currently using the Tandem x2 with autosoft 90 infusion set).

For the past 2ish years I have been experiencing annoying as hell itchiness at my infusion sites. Day 1 is usually fine and then day 2 and 3 are insanely itchy at times. Along with the itchiness the sites are red and hot to the touch sometimes.

Here's what I have tried...

Insulin: Humalog, Novolog, and Apidra- all still caused itchiness

Topical Sprays & Barriers: Flonase, Nasalcrom, Tegaderm Patches as barriers- still itchy

Infusion Sets: Autosoft and TruSteel- Trusteel did not help and actually also added a level of pain. (at one point I put in an autosoft on and didn't hook it up to insulin- just let it sit on my arm for 3 days and had NO REACTION.)

I met with an allergist and he basically just told me to do all the stuff I already did and I told him that so he prescribed some kind of ointment I am picking up from the pharmacy today. So we'll see, but I have low expectations.

I have an upcoming appt with my endo who is very smart and helpful, but I guess I also just want to hear from the community if there is anyone else who has experienced this or has any other tips? I'm never giving up my pump- even if that means I have to deal with the itchiness FOREVER lol....but any suggestions would be appreciated!
