IUD acne!! Derms help me out what can I do to stop this??
I got an iud put in about 3 and a half months ago. I was on accutane 4 years ago for 9 months for pretty bad cystic acne it cleared it up and I have had no troubles with my skin since. I’ve been on the BC pill as well as the nexplan implant. But recently switched to the iud. After getting it out in I started noticing break outs all around my mouth and chin area. Very red inflamed and clustered together. I went back to the doctor and they prescribed docycline and a benzoyl pro oxide cream. That did not work and made everything sting and get super red. I was then prescribed arazlo which again made everything was worse. I’ve decided to stop using the creams and just stick to a simple routine zyderma cleanser and clarifying cream. My acne is still red and inflamed looking what do I do I really don’t want to go on acutance again.
